Power Systems Design
Resilient power from the grid in.
What we deliver
Data-centre power systems must be designed for redundancy, resilience and efficiency — getting the design wrong is expensive to fix after construction. Migradia's power systems engineers design the complete MV/LV switchgear topology, UPS systems (2N, N+1 and concurrent-maintainable configurations), generator sets, automatic transfer switches and PDU distribution, sized to the facility's capacity requirements and Tier classification. We coordinate with Kenyan Power and regional utilities on power agreements and grid connection planning.
Scope of work
- MV/LV switchgear design & single-line diagrams
- UPS topology selection (2N / N+1 / 2N+1)
- Generator sizing, fuel systems & ATS design
- PDU & busbar distribution design
- Kenyan Power & KPLC grid connection coordination
- Power infrastructure commissioning specification
Technical standards
Migradia designs and builds to internationally recognised standards, adapted for each market's operating environment — grid quality, climate and local building codes.
Our delivery edge
Migradia's engineers have delivered server rooms and data halls across multiple markets. They understand the operational realities of enterprise data-centre delivery — variable grid quality, climatic conditions, import logistics, and local regulatory requirements — and design for them from day one.
